She is currently Senior Acting Tutor on BA Acting at RADA and is an active member of Projekt Europa’s Artist Advisory Group, supporting the company to curate artist development opportunities for and with migrant theatre artists.

¬ Yaël works with actors, directors, designers, theatre makers, playwrights, screenwriters, poets, and spoken word artists both nationally and internationally. Centring collaboration and artist development in her practice, her methodology is flexible and expansive. Yaël holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Script Development from the National Film and Television School and is an experienced script reader and editor for stage and screen, working with various organisations during their application, competition, and prize/award processes.

¬ Yaël held the role of Acting Tutor at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama from 2008-2018, and was Programme Director of MA Collaborative Theatre Making at Rose Bruford College from 2021-2023, developing new work with cohorts of international theatre makers. She was a Creative Writing Fellow on BA Creative Writing at Birmingham University, teaching Screenwriting from 2021-2023.

¬ Yaël believes that the most powerful and innovative work is created in the space between artists, and she is passionate about cultivating sites in which artists can lead with curiosity, and produce playful, thoughtful, and distinctive work.
